Words of advice about EV charging stations

Before getting an EV charging station installed you must first obtain a permit. In Ontario the agency responsible is the Electrical Safety Authority. The installation must be done by a licensed electrical contractor, such as Ayr Welding. Our electricians will confirm that all equipment to be installed is certified for use in Canada by a nationally recognized certification agency such as Canadian Standards Association or Underwriters Laboratories Inc.
